Time To Plan the Reunion
Summer is almost here, it's time to pick up your plants! The deadline for picking up your custom ordered containers and overwintered plants is June 1st. Plan to retrieve them by giving us a call at 519-461-1416. Calling 2 hours ahead of time will give us time to pull them for you and limit your wait. Your plants are excited to go home, are you excited to have them back?

Been dreaming of strawberries lately? Catch yourself drooling at the though of our delicious red fruits that kick off summer? We have an update, straight from the field on when you can expect to get fresh Heeman strawberries as well as when the Pick Your Own field should open.
Stevenson Children's Camp Charity BBQ
Heeman's is proud to host the Embro 4-H club as they operate this weeks Charity BBQ. All funds raised will go to support Stevenson's Children Camp in Dorchester, a summer camp that provides excitement and opportunity for underprivileged children. Open from 10:00am to 3:00pm this weekend, be sure to come with a big appetite and help Stevenson's Camp! Please show your support by buying a hot dog, sausage or hamburger while your out this weekend.

50 Years Serving Community
This spring is not just any ordinary gardening season for Heeman’s, a family owned and operated garden centre and strawberry farm. This spring Heeman's is celebrating 50 years serving the local community. First opening its doors in 1963 as a small ready picked strawberry farm, Bill and Susan Heeman quickly evolved the farm to become the strawberry destination in the area. It didn’t take long for the Heeman’s to realize their true calling was growing flowers, something that came second nature to them given their Dutch heritage.
Today Heeman’s is a three-generation family business with grandchildren now joining the ranks. While many improvements and expansions have been added over the last five decades, the core values that the business was built on remain the same; quality, value and service.
