At Heeman's we're known for having the friendliest and most helpful staff. We value our staff team and the experience they create for every customer who comes in looking to browse our Garden Centre or enjoy our delicious berries. We're seeking to find people who can help us continue to deliver an unbeatable shopping experience in 2012. Heeman's is hiring daymakers to join our staff team. Heeman's is looking for people who have the following,
- strong social skills and dedication to providing positive experiences for customers
- an open mind and willingness to learn new things
- desire to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment surrounded by people, working both in and outdoors
What is a Daymaker?
A daymaker is someone who goes out of their way to ensure they delight someone and make them smile. Making someones day can make all the difference for someone and is a gratifying feeling for the employee who helped be that positive influencer.
What is Expected of a Daymaker at Heeman's
When a person visits Heeman's, everyone who works at Heeman's is tasked with ensuring that person has a positive shopping experience. Whether it's a simple smile, asking how a person is doing or giving advice on what to plant or going to the back to get something special for a customer.
Heeman's prides itself on it's staff team. We believes our greatest asset and strength is our staff and employ people who will make a difference and continue our tradition of offering a positive customer experience. Due to the nature of our industry, team member must be available to work all weekends and holidays in May through to Canada Day.
When Are Applications Due
We are hiring for the Spring 2012 season. Applications are due no later than March 15th. We are hiring for the summer period with positions ranging from two to four months in length. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
