UWO Charity BBQ Results

We have the pleasure of working with students from the University of Western Ontario's Shinerama crew July 1st to the 3rd as they held a charity BBQ. The UWO crew flipped burgers and served up hot dogs to raise money and awareness for the Terry Fox Run and Shinerama.

We want to thank everyone who came out to support the hard working group and helped make the weekend such a success.

We're thrilled to announce that they were able to rasie $2001.65 for Shinerama and the Terry Fox Run. Thank you so much for helping them reach this amazing total!

Shinerama was founded in the 1960's and since then university students across Canada have raised money for cystic fibrosis any way they can. From shine shoes and cars to flipping burgers and hot dogs. In 2010 Canadian post-secondary institutions raised over $1,000,000 for the first time. To date they have raised over $21.5 million. Every Canadian knows who Terry Fox is for his courage and dedication shown on the Marathon of Hope. While he may be gone the Terry Fox Foundation had spread the message across the globe and to date, over $550 million has been raised worldwide for cancer research in Terry's name.
