Low-Fat Cheesecake Dip

Low Fat Cheesecake DipCreator Carolyn Beinlich says, "This dip may be low in fat, but it is high in flavour. Guests will want this recipe."

Yield: 3 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg/85 g  light Neufchatel cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp/30 mL  sugar or artificial sweetener *
  • 3 tbsp/45 mL  low-fat milk
  • 2 cups/473 mL  light whipped topping
  • 1 tsp/5 mL  vanilla extract
  • Fresh large whole strawberries

* Must use artificial sweetener to make this safe for Diabetics, otherwise this is a 'light' recipe.

Instructions:

  1. Blend Neufchatel cheese, sugar and milk until well blended and smooth.
  2. Fold in whipped topping and vanilla.
  3. Put in a serving dish surrounded by dipping strawberries.

Tip:

  • Try substituting orange or lemon juice for vanilla.
