Where Do These Come From?
We’ve broken it down by department below so you can see where most of our plants originate. The reason for importing is that some plants are not easily grown in Canada due to specific growing requirements or specialized care needs.
If you have questions about a specific plant while browsing, please feel free to ask a Daymaker and they can have it looked up for you:
- Summer Tropicals: Some of these are imported including
- Mandevillas, Rio Dipladenia, Oleander and some Tropical Hibiscus
- Tropical fruit trees such as citrus, avocado, and guava
- Palms including Cat Palms, Majesty Palms, and Bottle Palms, Chinese Palms, etc.
- Tropical ferns including Kimberly Queen and Macho Ferns
- Houseplants: Most are imported including
